Vice President Joe Biden endorses T’wina Nobles for state Senate in WA-28

T’wina Nobles, University Place School Board Director and CEO of Tacoma Urban League, earns the endorsement of Former Vice President and Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden in her bid for state Senate seat in WA’s 28th legislative district 

TACOMA, WA – The campaign of local state Senate candidate T’wina Nobles announced today that Nobles has earned the endorsement of Joe Biden, Former Vice President of the United States and Democratic nominee for President. This is the only endorsement Vice President Biden is issuing in a legislative race in Washington this year. The endorsement arrived just as voters across Pierce County are receiving their mail-in ballots for the November general election.

Nobles, a wife and mother of four, former small business owner, University Place School Board Director, and CEO of the Tacoma Urban League is thrilled to receive this endorsement. 

“It is an honor for our campaign for state Senate to receive the only legislative endorsement in Washington from Vice President Joe Biden,” said T’wina Nobles, “Joe understands that here in the 28th legislative district, like many regions of this country, people are ready for a change in leadership. Voters in my district know that I will represent all people in my district, regardless of their background – not special interests.” 

Joe Biden’s endorsement is not the first high-profile endorsement the Nobles campaign has received. Biden joins Senators Elizabeth Warren, Patty Murray, and Maria Cantwell in endorsing the Nobles’ campaign. These endorsements accompany nearly 100 other endorsements the campaign has earned from local organizations, elected officials, and community leaders. 

Ballots will be mailed to voters in Pierce County on October 16th, and must be returned to a ballot dropbox or postmarked by Tuesday, November 3rd.
